Olaya Sanfuentes
Culture and history
Olaya Sanfuentes holds a Ph.D. in Art History from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, a Master’s degree from Georgetown University, USA, and a BA in History from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her research and publications have focused on the cultural, religious, and artistic heritage of the Andean world, providing her with a wealth of knowledge in this area. She has also been involved in several museum curatorial projects.
Olaya has shared her expertise in Andean cultural heritage through her work as an educator, teaching at guide schools in Uyuni, Atacama, and Sacred Valley. Additionally, she has provided content to various collaborators at Explora, offering diverse perspectives on the region’s history and culture.
