If you’re passionate about nature and environmental conservation, this is your chance to make a difference. Apply to our Volunteer Program and help us protect one of the most remote and iconic places on the planet.
Be Part of Something Bigger
We are looking for enthusiastic young individuals from around the world to join our team of park rangers at the Torres del Paine Conservation Reserve, a unique conservation initiative in Chilean Patagonia.
In partnership with The Nature Conservancy, the world’s largest conservation organization, we have protected 6,000 hectares (14.800 acres) in perpetuity to ensure these lands remain pristine and accessible for explorers from all over the globe.
If you’re between 21 and 35 years old and have a genuine interest in conservation, we invite you to be part of it.
What to Expect
You will work in a remote area, surrounded by the wild nature of Patagonia, where the weather can be challenging sometimes. You’ll live in the Reserve, located northeast of Torres del Paine National Park, alongside our park rangers, sharing meals, stories, and, of course, a love for nature.
From removing old fences to monitoring species, every task you take on will have a direct impact on the preservation of this valuable ecosystem.
What are the main tasks?
- Removal of old fences and trail restoration.
- Monitoring wildlife and flora, including setting up camera traps.
- Supporting ecological restoration projects and regenerative grazing.
- Maintenance of facilities and pathways, among other tasks.
Requirements:
- Good physical and emotional condition.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn or improve your Spanish.
- Personal accident insurance.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Duration: Minimum of 1 month, with the possibility of extension.

The Torres del Paine Conservation Reserve is dedicated to the long-term preservation of a unique ecosystem in the region, covering 6,000 hectares (14,800 acres) protected in perpetuity under the Right of Conservation.
In partnership with The Nature Conservancy and Microsoft, and overseen by a dedicated team of park rangers, we are committed to supporting fragile ecosystems around the world, including the Torres del Paine Biosphere Reserve, recognized by UNESCO.
The creation of the Torres del Paine Conservation Reserve marked the beginning of extensive environmental restoration, which included removing livestock, opening up fences, and continuous clean-up efforts. As a result, hundreds of guanacos and other native species have returned and now roam freely throughout the area.
Pumas have also reestablished their presence, reinforcing a positive ecological cycle alongside native scavengers. Additionally, we launched an innovative regenerative grazing project, aimed at optimizing the recovery and growth of local plant life.
In 2023, we kicked off an ambitious reforestation program in the most affected areas, along with the construction of visitor trails featuring educational signage. Now open to the public, the reserve offers a unique experience of connection with nature.
